Nomikai

In Japan, nomikai are drinking parties specifically centered around workplace celebrations. During these events, co-workers build bonds and celebrate accomplishments, anniversaries, new arrivals to the team, and departures of veteran members. Nomikai Fizzy Rosé was created by industry veterans Connor Drexler and Megan & Ryan Glaab; friends crafting the best hand-held beverages to hit the market in a long time.

Porter-Bass Poco a Poco

Poco a Poco is a second label for the family that allows glasspour options in a handful of states across the U.S. All three wines are made from organic grapes bought from the nearby Forchini vineyards. The wine is made at Porter Bass to the same standards (biodynamic) as his flagship wines but at a much more friendly price. Poco a Poco is fermented with native yeast, unfiltered, and unfined.

Madson Wines

Madson Wines, a collaboration between viticulturist Ken Swegles and winemaker Cole Thomas, is committed to expressing the terroir of small vineyards in the Santa Cruz Mountains. With Swegles’ devotion to organic viticulture and Thomas’ light-handed vinification the two have created a voice in their wines that is unobscured, elegant and precise. Madson wines are rooted in respect for nature and the vineyard. They believe that wine is made by nurturing balanced vines at sites with optimal temperatures and unique soil composition.

Porter Bass

Porter Bass is a highly recognized and coveted producer in California for making clean, well-balanced, biodynamic wines. Their small winery is located in the hills just above the town of Guerneville in the Russian River Valley. The vineyard was originally planted in the late 1800s but in rough shape when the Bass family purchased the estate in the 1980s. The vineyard had been intensively farmed with fertilizers and pesticides and the soil was exhausted. The Bass family converted all vineyards to biodynamics.

Art + Science

We started our label with wine in 2011, the same year our son, Cash, was born. (It has more to do with building a legacy to pass down than with kids driving you to drink, but both have some truth). In 2012 we bought the 40 acres behind us and decided to plant some apple trees for cider. That year, we also made our first cider from foraged fruit and have grown our business right along with our trees.

Hiyu

Hiyu is a 30 acre working farm in the Hood River Valley. The land is tended to by a group of people inspired by biodynamics and permaculture and the name is derived from the trade language of the Chinook people The sense of place is elevated and maintained by tending to the grape vines, raising animals, gardening, cooking and winemaking.

Pull Eighty

Pull Eighty Pinot Noir is the result of a commitment to an entire vintage’s production and some tight lips. We are at liberty to disclose neither the names of the vineyards nor the winemaker’s name. We are happy to do include Pull Eighty in our portfolio, however, because it means that we can offer this wine at half of what it would normally sell for.
